Mission Statement

The mission of Meharry's Office of Prospect Research and Donor Relations is to play an integral role in supporting the College's advancement and philanthropic efforts through the annual fund, prospect research, direct marketing and donor relations; and to foster professional development, training and growth in the field of prospect research.

Prospect Research

The prospect research office’s primary responsibility is to expand and refine the prospect pool and provide information and data in qualified prospects for major gift solicitations.  This process includes identifying, screening and rating potential donors, prospect management, tracking and data mining.

Donor Relations

We facilitate appreciation for to donors who have affirmed their commitment to Meharry financial support.   The donor relations staff conveys to our alumni and friends that they are our partners and that all gifts are greatly appreciated.  Gifts from first-time donors are just as important as the gifts from long-time devoted donors.  Both represent important commitment to the College and its vital mission.
