Medical Education at Meharry

The objective of the Department of Medical Education is to develop, enhance, and evaluate educational programs for students and faculty across the basic science departments, clinical departments, divisions and schools. Through the pursuit of excellence in teaching and learning, the department aims to expand and enrich the Meharry community of scholars devoted to the educational enterprise of the School of Medicine. The department is responsible for coordinating the Introduction to Clinical Medical (ICM) courses, Clinical Pathologic Conference (CPC), Pathophysiology, Comprehensive Medical Review Programs, Standardized Patient Program, and for promoting innovative ideas for teaching and learning in medical education.
