Our Mission
The Mission of the Department of Pediatrics is to provide a unique opportunity to explore the physical and psychosocial development of children into adulthood through teaching, clinical service and research. The primary focus is to promote health and disease prevention through competent quality care. Education of our students is foremost to assure future decrease in disparities of health in all children.
